DROP OFF SUBMISSIONS:  Sunday, August 31, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and Tuesday, September 2, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
OPENING RECEPTION: September 5, 5-8 p.m.
PICK-UP SUBMISSIONS: Sunday, Sept. 28, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 29, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT:

Joy in the Making invites artists to submit work created in a spirit of exploration, playfulness, and joy—when you followed a sudden impulse or allowed yourself to break your own rules. We’re looking for the piece or pieces that brought you the most delight to make this year—the ones that made you feel free, curious, and fully immersed in the moment. All mediums are welcome.

THIS IS NOT A JURIED EXHIBIT. ALL WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.

ARTWORK ACCEPTED: 

  • 1-3 pieces of work per artist
  • 2D and 3D accepted
  • 2D work – maximum framed dimension 60” in the longest direction INCLUDING FRAME.
  • 3D work - smaller 3D work must not exceed 32" H and must fit within a 24” footprint to display securely on a gallery pedestal. If you have larger 2D or floor standing 3D work, please call the gallery to discuss size and display options.
  • All work must be created with the last 3 years and not previously shown at the Levy Gallery.
  • All artists exhibiting online or at any NHAA in person venues must adhere to our PRESENTATION AND FRAMING GUIDELINES and NHAA EXHIBIT AGREEMENT on the on the website.
